We’re accepting film submissions for our 2025 programme now.
Last date to submit films is 4th May 2025.

From November 22 to December 8, 2024, ALT EFF brought together a vibrant community—both in-person and online—to experience some of the most urgent and compelling environmental stories from around the world.

The Festival’s 5th Edition was a truly memorable celebration of cinema, conversation, and collective action, uniting filmmakers, changemakers, and audiences in a shared commitment to the planet.

100+ LIVE EVENTS

ALT EFF 2024 brought 100+ live events across India, showcasing films from around the world. Cities, towns, and villages witnessed the most compelling climate stories of our time.

700+ SCHOOL AND COLLEGE EVENTS

Youth are leading the charge for global climate action, and we understand the importance of fostering eco-consciousness early.
Through screenings in schools and colleges across the country, we aim to inspire the next generation to take charge.

ALT EFF drives large-scale climate action through the power of cinema, inspiring us to rethink our place and impact on this shared planet.

Join the movement, take charge, and spark a ripple of change.
