ALT EFF is built by a dedicated team of creatives & changemakers. Our backgrounds are diverse and we are yoked by a common sense of urgency of the climate crisis and a shared confidence in the role of the arts to inspire communities in action.
Our team works 100% remote and is spread out across India and the world.
We gather together for in-person work periods in Panchgani, Maharashtra, and during the festival dates.

OPEN ROLES
DESIGN INTERN
We’re looking for someone who’s obsessed with design.
If you fix kerning in your sleep you’re in the right place.
DURATION - July to December 2025 (6 months)
ROLE - Full-time, remote, paid position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create visually engaging, pixel-perfect designs (yes, we mean obsessed with ratios and alignments)
Align with ALT EFF 2025’s surreal, collage-driven aesthetic
Interpret briefs with clarity — understand the brand, the audience, the experience
Collaborate with the ALT EFF team to maintain visual consistency across social media, web, print, merch, and more
SKILLS & REQUIREMENT
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (your own Adobe login is essential)
Strong eye for composition, typography, and visual storytelling.
Comfort working within an existing visual language and brand guide
Familiarity with surreal, collage-based design styles is a big plus.
Curious, experimental mindset - we love blue sky thinking
Ability to use AI tools to create imagery and concept mockups where needed
