ALT EFF Opening Night is back again!
Join us for a star-stud evening of cinema, community and conversation to yoke us around the most pressing issue of our time - climate action. 

Hosted at the iconic art-deco Liberty Cinema in Marine Lines, Opening Night features red carpet photo ops, a screening ALT EFF 2024 Best of Festival film, an award ceremony for winning filmmakers, free bevvies by Rolling Mills Brewery and Rise Up Kombucha, samosa and food stalls to satiate the appetite. ALT EFF will also be selling our special edition 2024 merch.

Meet like-minded folks, join in the conversation and the revelry, and view an incredible piece of impact cinema on the silver screen. Last year we packed the house with a sold out event of 750 people and we expect to do it again!

6:00 - 7 pm: Red Carpet entry, drinks and revelry 

7 pm: Award Ceremony 

8:00 - 9:15 pm: Screening of ALT EFF’s Best of Festival Film (announced on the day!)

9:15 - 10 pm: Final drinks, bites and conversation
